Women Hockey Players of North America and beyond,
Attached is an announcement for the 2014 Women's Hockey Tournament, which will be held Oct 11-12 at the Cincinnati Recreation Center Pool in Cincinnati, OH.
Please take a look at it asap, as there are a couple of new items. If you sign up by July 3, your fee is only $90 for the whole weekend filled with a skills clinic, potluck tournament, meals, awards and a fantastic time with your fellow women hockey players. We are also offering some scholarships to those who wouldn't be able to make it otherwise. We really want all the ladies to join us, whether you are a new player wanting to rocket into the next level of skills and tournament play or the seasoned elite veteran who knows how awesome it is to play women's hockey.
The basic plan is that we host a skills clinic 9am-noon Saturday, then potluck tournament play Saturday until 3pm Sunday afternoon, so everyone can get home Sunday. This year, we've also secured training all day Friday for those ladies who are in training for Team USA Women going to Worlds 2016! So many exciting activities.
Check out the details and spread the word to other ladies who might be interested. Last year we had 53 participants; how about 70 this year?
Don't forget to bring you best swimming suits, for the Swim Suit Competition!
We hope to see you there,
Brigit
