Round Robin Game 1 vs South Africa

We played our first game today against South Africa.  We lost 0-7, but we played a very good game especially in the second half.  We  think the score does not reflect how well we actually played.  We have some things to work out but we are excited to play South Africa again in the playoffs.    We had some beautiful plays and drives towards the South African goal, but were shut out by their strong defense.  We worked out out all of our nerves and are ready for the next round robin game.  

We were also able to cheer on some of the other USA Teams.  US Men’s Elite Team lost a very close game to Turkey (1-2).  The Women’s Master’s Team had two games today first against South Africa (1-13) and vs Australia (0-13).  The US Master’s Men also had two games first a very good win against Canada (6-1) and they are finishing second game now against France.

We play tomorrow (3/26/2016) at 8:40 am (3/25/2016- 11:40 pm PST and 3/26/2016 12:40 am MST, 1:40 am CST, 2:40 am EST) vs Great Britain.
